THE UPPER ROOM is a short comic book made in response from an invitation for me to make a book about the brain, by FCT and Ar.Co in Portugal. I invented this character that went crazy due to experiences of sleep deprivation at the hands of the Portuguese Secret Police (PIDE-DGS).
